For many years Dale Lary's passion has been to photograph the natural landscape in Central and Northern New Hampshire. After retiring from a high technology company, Lary turned his hobby into his profession. His photographs are often captured while on long hikes into the interior of the state with camera equipment on his back. The results are both stunning and majescic

Lary's primary interest is to photograph subject matter such as waterfalls, brooks, ponds, lakes, wildflowers, autumn foliage, wildlife, domestic animals, gardens, local events and architecture.

• 2009 - Community Guide 2009 Annual publication Photo Contest. Awarded the publication of three submitted photographs.
• 2008 - Meredith Village Savings Bank Calendar Photo Contest. Photograph chosen to represent the month of May in the Bank's sponsored 2009 calendar.
• 2008 - "Rediscover Your New Hampshire" Photo Contest sponsored be the State of New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism. Awarded Honorable Mention.
• 2007 - Meredith Village Savings Bank Calendar Photo Contest. Chosen for the cover photograph of the Bank's sponsored 2008 calendar.
• 2007 - Escape in New Hampshire Magazine Photo Contest. Awarded publication of a submitted photograph.
• 2007 - Community Guide 2007 Annual publication Photo Contest. Awarded cover page placement of a submitted Photograph.
• 2006 - "You're Going to Love it Here" Photo Contest sponsored by the State of New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism. Awarded First Place, Second Place, Fourth Place and Honorable Mention. Many of Lary's photographs appear in State sponsored travel brochures and publications as well as on the www.visitnh.gov website.
• 2004 - Plymouth, NH Area Phone Book Cover Contest. Awarded First Place with photograph appearing on the 2004 Phone Book cover.
